Preparing for the Radiography Registry Examination: What You Need to Know

As you gear up for the radiography registry examination, understanding the test duration and format is key to your preparation. The exam consists of 200 scored items and 30 pilot items, totaling 230 questions. These pilot items are randomly interspersed throughout the exam and are indistinguishable from scored items.


Your test-taking appointment will last approximately 250 minutes, which includes:


⭐ 8 minutes for the test-taking tutorial


⭐2 minutes for signing the nondisclosure agreement (NDA)


⭐230 minutes for the exam itself


⭐10 minutes for a post-exam survey


Being aware of the exam structure and time allocation can help you plan your study schedule effectively and approach exam day with confidence.
